The Noisettes have been quietly making their mark in America. Nothing has stopped them from being recognized amongst the mass-marketed bands. Lead singer, Shingai Shoniwa has pure talent without the theatrics. She appears humble, graceful, and fun to be around. It's tough for me to gauge her Pom Poms. It could possibly be her mother, a single parent social worker or maybe an artist/mentor from her youth. I'll take the chance and speculate that her performance Armor are her bare feet gliding across the stage. My cohorts think her civilian Armor is Africa and its diverse art, textiles, and natural beauty; just like her. She is feminine and solid indeed.
